Scaling

When tracking something like monitor screen with no internal detail, you must track some of the boundary too. Set up the planar tracker exactly on the edges of screen for accuracy, then shift-drag a corner to scale up the entire tracker rectangle so that it encompasses some of surrounding region. Shift-scaling does not change FOV or aspect or aim direction. Shift-scaling preserves the planar aspect ratio; once you have started scaling, you can release the shift key to begin adjusting width and height independently (re-depress shift to return to the original aspect), again without changing FOV or aspect.
