Tagging
Tagging in SynthEyes replaces hardcoded folder paths with flexible, shorthand codes (for example, <PROJECT>, <SHOTNAME>, or <SCENEDIR>). By using tags, you can avoid typing full paths repeatedly and keep your projects easy to move between disks, machines, or operating systems. Tags act like placeholders that expand to actual folders or file names at export time. Instead of typing a long path for every shot or every exporter, you simply refer to <PROJECT>/MyFilm/Scenes, for instance, and SynthEyes writes files to the right place automatically.
