User-Level (New Scene) Project Values

Originating Project Name. This is the descriptive project name, based on where this preset was loaded from originally.

(User) Short name. A shorter version of the name, intended for use in templated filenames using the <PROJ> tag. You can change it here to affect new scenes created using these current project presets, but to change the originating preset, you need to change it at the Scene level, and then save the Scene settings back to the orginal source.

The preset source for this (User) project. The full path name for the project preset from which the current project settings were obtained. This is not what is used for the Save buttons below.

Load. Allows you to load a project preset into the current preset settings, ie literally copy them from the selected preset to /User/Current. You’ll have the option to also update the current scene’s settings.

Project Tag Manager. Opens the Project Tag Manager so that you can set up default locations for various items, including presets, using tags to base them off the project and shot names. You can also open it directly as File/Project Tag Manager.
