If you have changed the SynthEyes install location, you will need to update SyPy's syconfig.py. Copy the folder /opt/BorisFX/SynthEyes2024/SyPy into /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages

Linux should ask you for permission to do so. Alternatively, you can open a terminal window then run the following commands:

cd /opt/SynthEyes/SyPy

su [or sudo]

csh +x installLinux.csh

./installLinux.csh

Adjust the filenames as needed for other python versions, including using SyPy3 for python3.

Start SynthEyes and Edit/Preferences. Go to the System section and make sure that the python executable filename there corresponds to your system.
